Olha Kobylianska

A prominent Ukrainian writer who made a significant contribution to the development of Ukrainian literature. Despite the limited educational opportunities for women at that time, she educated herself and became one of the most influential women of her generation. The writer was one of the first Ukrainian feminists. In her works, she raised issues of women's emancipation, the right to self-realization, and the struggle for social equality.
