Niobe

This is a philosophical story based on the Greek myth about Niobe, a mother of many children, all of whose children suffered a terrible fate. This myth has been retold countless times in world literature, and Olga Kobylyanska breathed into this dramatic story the true story about the Ukrainian prototype of Niobe, which the author herself knew. This story contains many philosophical reflections of a mother and her children, who, regardless of religious upbringing and strict instructions, each went on with his life and met misfortune, grief and death.
