Dara Korniy

A contemporary Ukrainian writer. For a long time, she worked at the Lviv National Academy of Arts in the Department of Publishing. Dara Korniy was born in Volyn and believes that her childhood surroundings, as well as her grandmother's and grandfather's stories, nourish her as a writer. In particular, the knowledge that "not all mavkas are kind" was learned from an early age. The writer actively uses Ukrainian mythology, bringing ancient spirits, magical creatures, and legendary characters to life on the pages of her books.
