Ivan Malkovych

A prominent Ukrainian poet, children's author, translator, and perhaps best known as the founder and owner of the unique publishing house A-BA-BA-HA-LA-MA-HA. He is a laureate of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine (2016). Ivan Malkovych is a case where a creative personality managed to create a powerful cultural institution that significantly influenced the quality of Ukrainian children's books and the publishing business in general.
