Anna Yaroslavna: Kyiv Princess — Queen of France

This book written by Ukrainian poet, compiler, translator, founder and owner of the A-ba-ba-ha-la-ma-ha publishing house Ivan Malkovych. The story is written in the form of a fairy tale that tells about the life of Anna Yaroslavna, the daughter of Yaroslav the Wise, who became Queen of France. The author acquaints the little reader with the history of Ukraine and France, as well as with the life of one of the most famous Ukrainian women. The book is accompanied by illustrations by two artists who worked in different styles. Kateryna Kosyanenko created drawings that are similar to chronicles, and Kateryna Shanko worked in a fairy-tale style.

This story, with harmoniously combined illustrations, will be most interesting for children aged 6-12 years.
