Collection: George Orwell

George Orwell is the pseudonym of Eric Arthur Blair, a British writer whose works have become classics of world literature. George Orwell was born in 1903 in India, where his father worked in the colonial administration. He spent his childhood in Britain, attending prestigious schools, but did not feel happy. Later, he worked as a teacher, a policeman in Burma, and was homeless in Paris. These experiences deeply influenced his worldview and were reflected in his works.
