Animal Farm

«Animal Farm» is one of the most famous works of George Orwell. It is an allegorical novella in which Orwell described the events of the Russian Revolution of 1917 and the rise of Stalinist dictatorship. He was a staunch opponent of Stalinism and believed that the Soviet Union was a brutal dictatorship based on personality cult and terror.
The novella, thanks to its easily recognizable characters and engaging plot, gives readers a new perspective on the bloody and terrible pages of the history of the Soviet Union. It is also a warning about the danger of communism, which is still relevant today.
