Axel Scheffler

A German illustrator known for his vibrant colors, simple shapes, and unique sense of humor. Born in Hamburg, Germany, he moved to the UK after studying art history and began his career as an illustrator. There he met author Julia Donaldson, with whom he created a series of beloved children's books.
