The book «Words and Bullets» is a collection of conversations with contemporary Ukrainian writers and journalists who, in the realities of full-scale war, have traded their pens for weapons or are actively helping the Armed Forces of Ukraine as volunteers. The project coordinator, Nataliia Korniienko, has gathered more than two dozen poignant stories, several of which were recorded in dangerous conditions specifically for this publication.
The book's heroes connected for interviews directly from dugouts, while hiding from missile attacks. Between interviews, some of them were wounded, and Victoria Amelina and Maksym Kryvtsov tragically died at the hands of the terrorist state.
The book includes 24 interviews: Artem Chapai, Dmytro Kropyvenko, Halyna Kruk, Anatoliy Dnistrovyi, Oleksiy Sinchenko, Victoria Amelina, Andriy Lyubka, Bohdan Kolomiychuk, Valerii Puzik, Petro Yatsenko, Ihor Mitrov, Yaryna Chornohuz, Kateryna Mikhalitsyna, Yevheniya Podobna, Maksym Kryvtsov, Maksym Skubenko, Tetiana Oharkova and Volodymyr Yermolenko, Pavlo Stekh, Serhiy Shebelist, Pavlo Vyshebaba, Dmytro Lazutkin, Lesia Hanzha, Fedir Shandor, Oleksandr Mykhed.
The cover has minor damage that doesn't affect the book's content.
