Witness

This book is a literary testament of a talented Ukrainian writer tragically killed in a missile strike on Kramatorsk on June 27, 2023. Amelina's poems are vivid testimonies of war, pain, loss, and hope. They convey the depth of human suffering and the strength of the human spirit. Victoria began writing the poems in this book at the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, and the last one was written just a few days before her death. The book is an important document of our time. It helps us understand what is happening in Ukraine and preserves the memory of those who gave their lives for our freedom.
