Within the walls of a cozy retirement home for elderly actors, there reigns a special kind of peace, filled with the scent of medicine, the rustle of autumn leaves, and long memories. Two former stars of Soviet cinema are spending their final years here. Once, they were bitter rivals, fiercely competing for the affection of the same man, sacrificing everything for the sake of their careers and elusive success. But now, when the years have washed away their stage makeup and softened their pride, they find themselves sitting side by side, realizing that old resentments have faded and that only a shared fate lies ahead.
Watching over them is a young caregiver who tries to heal her own emotional wound by caring for the elderly. As she becomes the witness to other people’s confessions of love and loss, the young woman begins to rethink her own path.
