The Bakota Treasure

This book is a captivating intertwining of destinies, united by the mysterious Bakota. Once a powerful chronicle city with a castle and a cave monastery, then a village on the banks of the Dniester, Bakota forever disappeared beneath the water, leaving behind only legends and memories. In this book, you will encounter three stories from different eras, where childhood experiences and memory are the key threads of the narrative:
Mal, the son of a craftsman serving in the prince's army, grieves for his father. He dreams of finding a treasure and mastering his craft, forging his own destiny.
Yevha, while visiting her grandmother in the village, meets archaeologists. She is convinced they are looking for a treasure, but could it be hidden not in the ground, but on a shelf in her grandmother's house?
Zhenya dreams of travel and discovery. Together with her grandmother Yevha, she sets out for Bakota Bay — a place where the remains of her ancestors' village, centuries of history, and perhaps even hidden treasures rest.
