Starry Poems

A warm and witty children’s poetry book about a girl named Zoryana, her vivid imagination, everyday discoveries, and little adventures that turn into poems. In this collection, ordinary moments become magical: here, you can invent the most incredible stories, set off on a journey through space, or hide a special secret in the world of childhood fantasies.

Zoryana lives in a world where each day brings a new adventure. She can bathe an elephant in the tub, travel through space in her father’s arms, play, laugh, and find wonder in the simplest things. From each of these moments, a poem is born — light, cheerful, and full of childlike spontaneity.
This book will delight children who love rhyme, wordplay, and joyful stories where imagination knows no limits. Natalia Kalchenko’s poems show how true poetry can grow from everyday joys, movement, laughter, and imagination.
