Sally Mills is a comedy writer for a popular sketch show who has long since become disillusioned with love, choosing a career and casual relationships instead. Her cynicism grows when a colleague, an "ordinary" looking man, starts dating a stunning actress. This inspires Sally to create a sketch called "The Danny Horst Rule," which satirizes this phenomenon and emphasizes that a woman would never be so lucky.
Then, a celebrity pop singer, Noah Brewster, known for his romances with models, appears on the show. Sally is captivated by his charm, and during their work together, a spark seems to fly between them. But this isn't a romantic comedy; it's real life, where such couples are simply impossible...
