Lykos is the first colony beneath the surface of Mars, where the Reds relentlessly mine vital helium-3. Their belief is unwavering: this work will eventually allow the weaker Colors to relocate to a habitable planet.
Sixteen-year-old Darrow is one of them. He has a family, love, and, like everyone else, works hard in the mines, striving for the best performance for extra privileges.
