None of This Is True

While celebrating her forty-fifth birthday at a local pub, popular podcaster Alix Summers meets an unassuming woman named Josie Fair and discovers that they are “birthday twins,” born on the very same day. A few days later, their paths cross again outside Alix’s children’s school, and Josie, who has been listening to Alix’s podcasts, suggests that her own story could become the subject of a new episode, hinting that she is on the verge of major changes in her life.
Josie’s life seems strange and tangled, and although her behavior unsettles Alix, the podcaster cannot resist the temptation to dig deeper. Gradually, Alix realizes that Josie is hiding very dark secrets — but by then she has already managed to insinuate herself not only into Alix’s podcast, but also into her home and personal life.
