This is a captivating psychological novel that immerses the reader in the lives of women who find themselves in emigration—some forced, others by choice. At the heart of the story is Anna, a Ukrainian woman starting a new life abroad. She works as an ice cream vendor, goes on dates that often end in disappointment, and finds true friends among women from all over the world: Hawa from Syria, Catarina from Portugal, and fellow Ukrainians Marianna and Margo.
One day, Anna asks her friend Margo a question that troubles many: «How do you know he's the one?» The answer she receives is far from what she expected. Was that answer true? Anna discovers this through her own experiences, and most importantly, she learns to be honest with herself.
