Every Last Word

Samantha McAllister is one of the most popular girls at school. Flawless makeup, perfect hair, and the “right” friends. But behind this façade lies an exhausting secret: Sam has obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Every thought is a struggle, every step a test of what it means to be normal. Her popular friends know nothing about her visits to a psychiatrist, because in their circle, any kind of “difference” is grounds for exclusion.
Everything changes when Sam meets Caroline. Her new friend introduces her to the Poet’s Corner — a secret refuge for those the school considers misfits. It is there, among honest poems and the sound of a guitar, that Sam takes a full breath for the first time. She begins to understand that real life is not about popularity, but about being able to be herself. Yet on the path to healing, she faces a challenge that will make her question everything she once believed.
