Esther's father is a talented engineer and the owner of an amusement park, but he is also battling an alcohol addiction that neither his wife nor his daughter can cope with. Despite everything, her parents try to get their lives somewhat on track, but each subsequent step leads them to another abyss, and Esther herself to a new Room.
Scared but determined, Esther ventures to a place she herself refuses to return from. But can she pull someone out of the abyss who doesn't even realize they're falling?
