Condemned to Death

In an ancient, mist-shrouded manor, a wedding is being prepared. The prince's son with dark blood and the daughter of his sworn enemy — their marriage is doomed from the very beginning. Four of the groom's closest friends stand by his side, but one of them has betrayed him, waiting for the enemies to arrive. Dozens of Muscovites are rushing to the manor; they believe the prince to be a vengeful avenger, punishing them for a brutal massacre. The table is laid with a tablecloth embroidered with hawks; a violin and dulcimer are playing. The wine is as bland as water, the bride glows with beauty... Suddenly, in the midst of the feast, a demon appears to take the prince for execution for his father's sin.
«Sentenced to Execution» is a whimsical story of love and revenge set during the Hetmanate era. In this world, an oath is unbreakable, revenge is fierce as fire, and love is stronger than death.
