Burchak

The texts in «Burchak» resemble blurred photographs that capture movement. In these hazy photo-essays, different people and processes emerge. Quite often, they are the author's parents and relatives, balancing through various historical periods. There are images of grandmother friends who tried to get to various interesting locations of the vast Soviet empire, where they would definitely not get after its fall (as if they felt it!). Or Mimi, who tells the young Prokhasko about the events of the First World War, which she witnessed as a child.
«Burchak» is an invitation to deep reflection, an immersion in the atmosphere of memories, and a realization of the passage of time through the prism of Taras Prokhasko's unique vision.
