Blood & Honey

Blood & Honey by Shelby Mahurin continues the story begun in Serpent & Dove, keeping Lou and Reid at the heart of the plot, along with the tension between magic, love, and the struggle for survival. It is a fantasy novel with strong yet imperfect characters, for whom feelings do not make life easier, but instead make every choice more painful and dangerous. In this book, the world of the series grows darker and more dramatic, while the story itself becomes emotionally more intense.
Blood & Honey will appeal to readers who enjoy stories of forbidden love, complicated alliances, inner strength, and the fight against circumstances that continually test the characters’ loyalty to themselves and to each other.
