Ashik Omer

One day, Omer took up a saz — a stringed instrument — and sang verses that flowed from the depths of his heart.
Thus began the path of the famous Crimean Tatar Ashik, a folk singer. Omer's songs captivated his listeners, enchanting them with their beauty and sincerity. His travels took him across half the world, but the call of his homeland always beckoned him back.
