Lesya Ukrainka, born Larysa Kosach, is an iconic figure in Ukrainian culture, with not only streets but also an asteroid named in her honor. Or «The City of Sorrow» which was born after the author observed mentally ill patients while visiting her uncle, who was in charge of a psychiatric hospital.
