All the Little Bird-Hearts

Sandi Forrester lives with her family in the picturesque Lake District of England. She's not like everyone else: overly meticulous, she only eats white food on certain days, drinks fizzy drinks, and avoids clocks. Her life is guided by an old etiquette book and a Sicilian folklore treasury, which helps her in unpredictable situations. Yet, the one thing Sandi can't control is her smart and headstrong teenage daughter, Dolly, who is about to fly the nest.
The Forresters' lives change with the arrival of a vibrant and charismatic couple, Vita and Rollo. The neighbors break almost all of Sandi's rules, but at the same time, she feels needed for the first time in their presence. However, something much darker is hidden behind their charm. After all, Sandi has the one thing Vita has dreamed of her entire life — a daughter.
