Amazing Women by the Water

Early sixties. While the world eagerly follows every step of Jackie Kennedy and Elizabeth Taylor, in sunny Finland, two friends – Rosa and Isabella – try to create their own version of the "American dream." Their days are spent on pristine beaches, and their evenings at dazzling parties, where the air is imbued with freedom and the anticipation of change.
However, behind this idyllic picture lie fateful dramas. When the world erupts with the protests of 1968, the carefree lives of the heroines collide with real history. "Wonderful Women by the Water" is a magical yet poignant tale about how difficult it is to remain oneself when old ideals crumble and the future remains uncertain.
