Vasyl Makhno

An eminent contemporary Ukrainian poet, prose writer, essayist, and translator. He is one of the most prominent representatives of Ukrainian literature, who lives and works at the intersection of cultures: Ukraine and the USA. Since 2000, he has resided in New York (USA), working at the Shevchenko Scientific Society in America (NTSh-America). He is a member of the Ukrainian and American PEN Clubs. Vasyl Makhno remains an important voice that documents a time of change, connecting the Ukrainian context with the global one.
