Vakhtang Kipiani

Modern Ukrainian journalist, historian, and public figure. Born in Tbilisi, Georgia, but spent most of his life in Ukraine. He is the founder and editor-in-chief of the online publication "Istorychna Pravda" (Historical Truth). Kipiani has dedicated much time to researching the life and death of the Ukrainian poet and dissident Vasyl Stus. In addition to journalism and historical research, Vakhtang Kipiani is actively involved in public activities.
