Stephen King

The world's most famous horror writer. Born in 1947 in the US state of Maine, he began writing short stories and novels in his youth. His work spans a wide range of genres, from horror to fantasy, mystery to horror. He has struggled with alcoholism and drug addiction but has overcome these challenges. His books have been adapted into films numerous times. King is often called the «King of Horror». He is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Letters.
