The Ship Master. Bayhorod

«The Ship Master» is a captivating story based on real events and people. It brings to life the artistic bohemia of the early 20th century: we meet the famous director Alexander Dovzhenko, the director of the Odessa and Kiev film studios Pavlo Nechy, and the talented artist and architect Vasyl Krychevsky, one of the founders of the Ukrainian Academy of Arts. This is a story of creativity, love and the turbulent era of the становлення кінематографа on the background of picturesque Odessa at the beginning of the last century.

«Bayhorod» is a story with a completely different atmosphere, but no less cinematic. Anarchist detachments are approaching the picturesque town of Bayhorod. The townspeople, united, prepare to fight back and protect their home. Love in the midst of war, a keen sense of the value of every moment and an unbreakable connection with the native land – this is what underlies the plot. The characters are ready to risk their lives to defend what they believe in.
