The Rats, the Boars, and the Mouse

On the picturesque streets of ancient Kyiv, life is bustling. Two groups of boys – the "Rats" from the artisan Podil district and the "Boars" from the princely Hill – are constantly competing, seeking adventure and amusement. Their days are filled with pranks, merry games, and sincere exploration of the world. But life is not always carefree. A sudden attack by the Polovtsy casts a shadow over their happy childhood. The Rats are forced to flee, seeking refuge, while the Boars stand up to defend their home city.
Dark times test the strength of the Kyivans' spirit. In this struggle, the best human qualities shine brightly: courage, dedication, and unity. The common misfortune unites the young Kyivans, making them true friends. Despite the challenges, the Kyivans do not lose faith in a better future. Their resilience and love for their hometown give them the strength to fight. And this faith will inevitably lead them to victory and homecoming.
