The Necklace

Twenty years ago, Susan Lantigo's life was shattered when her only daughter, Amy, disappeared. Since then, Susan's sole purpose has been to find justice.
She travels to North Dakota to witness the execution of the man known as the Monster, who is believed to be responsible for Amy's death. Susan believes that this will help her to let go of the past, complete therapy, and finally "move on".
During her journey, Susan stops by to visit an old friend, where she finds a crucial piece of evidence - a colored necklace similar to the one Amy wore. This compels Susan to demand a review of the case, but the FBI dismisses her as an emotionally unstable woman. Desperate, Susan decides to conduct her own investigation, in order to save two lives: the life of an innocent man, unjustly convicted, and the life of the real Monster, who is still at large.
Will Susan be able to uncover the truth? Did the necklace really belong to Amy? And will she be able to overcome the resistance of the authorities and find the peace she so desperately craves?
