Stolen happiness

Ivan Franko's play " Stolen Happiness " is one of the most popular works in Ukrainian literature and is a symbol for many theaters to this day. The action revolves around three main characters: an old peasant, his young wife and her lover , a gendarme. This drama turns into a highly tense tragedy, which gives an understanding that you cannot build your happiness on someone else's misfortune.
