Others remain in the shadows, gradually losing their clarity and turning into dust on old photographs or a collection of absurd fragments. «People in Nests» is an unusual blend of these two types of stories, where light humor intertwines with parody and deconstruction.
The author masterfully deconstructs historical memory, particularly local and familial, familiar to many people in our region. Romantic escapes, shootings on the front lines and in the rear, incredible twists of fate - all this is intertwined with the image of a lonely abandoned piano, sadly standing at the station. And horses with riders habitually run up the stairs to the second floor, and the ghosts of long-dead relatives quietly feast on apple jam.
