Nickel boys

The novel tells the true story of the Nickel Academy — a boys' reform school that operated in Florida for over a century. The plot centers on two boys, Elwood Curtis and Turner, who are wrongly convicted and sent to this institution. They support each other and contemplate how to survive in this cruel environment, where torture and violence against pupils are the norm.
