This book presents the well-known works of the outstanding Ukrainian playwright Ivan Karpenko-Kary, such as the comedies " Martyn Borulya " , " Hosyain " and " Sto mizhaj " . These works depict conflicts between social classes, as well as the life of the rural bourgeoisie and Cossacks in Ukraine in the second half of the 19th century.
