"Kyrндщ Kozhumyakф" and other Ukrainian legends and tales

The book contained a collection of legends and tales recorded from the memories of old-timers from different parts of Ukraine with the aim of preserving the history of the native region. These works reflect the connection of fantasy elements with real historical events. All legends and tales have in common the idea of ​​humanity and social justice. Folklore sources of the people remain alive to this day and are passed down from generation to generation.
