History.UA: figures, facts, versions

This is a collection of essays about key figures and important events of the 20th century. The book reveals a fascinating kaleidoscope of history that seems very close, but still little-known behind the screen of Soviet myths. Some of these historical figures, such as Simon Petlyura, Olena Teliga, Stepan Bandera or Roman Shukhevich, are known from school textbooks, and many others, such as Yuriy Tyutyunnyk, Mykhailo Omelyanovych-Pavlenko, Yuriy Gorlis-Gorskyi, Vasyl Lypkivskyi and Oleksa Tychy, also deserve a place in the national memory of Ukrainians.
