Hide and Seek by Andrew Mayne is a suspenseful crime drama with a twist ending. The main character, Theo Cray, is a computational biologist and university professor who accidentally finds himself at the center of an investigation into the brutal murder of his former student in Montana. Despite the fact that everyone around believes that a grizzly bear is behind the crime, Theo feels that the case is not so simple and that a person is behind the crime. The hero has to use his scientific abilities to uncover the mystery, as well as protect himself from danger. The book has a magical and mystical mood, and Theo's ability to see secret connections is strikingly mystical. According to the co-founder of the publishing house, the book blurs the line between reality and fiction, which makes the story truly mystical.
