The main character Izzy has never been particularly satisfied with her life in a quiet town in northern California. But when she learns that her father is the crown prince of Japan and she herself is a real princess, everything changes. Izzy is surprised and fascinated by this discovery and decides to meet her father and learn more about her origins. But when she comes to Japan, she will quickly understand that not only luxury and glitter await her, but also dangers and difficulties. Izzy must follow millennia-old traditions and customs, watch her actions to avoid scandals in the press, and live with a grim bodyguard who follows her everywhere. The life of the princess is not as simple as she thought, and she has to fight various challenges. The princess tiara does not always grant freedom, and Izzy must make a choice: live in chains or find her true strength and freedom.
