Eragon

The first book in the Inheritance Cycle transports readers to a world of adventure where dragons, elves, and other mythical creatures live. The story begins with a simple boy named Eragon, who accidentally finds a mysterious stone that turns out to be a dragon egg. When the little Saphira hatches, Eragon's life changes dramatically. He becomes a Dragon Rider and embarks on a dangerous journey to confront the dark forces that seek to seize power over the land of Alagaesia. Along with his dragon, Eragon meets a variety of characters: a wise storyteller, a nimble elf, as well as loyal friends and treacherous enemies. A strong bond forms between the boy and Saphira, becoming the foundation of their struggle. The heroes face numerous trials and must confront powerful enemies to protect their world.
