The main character, Matt, grew up in a family in which his father earned a living by fighting. The father dreamed that his son would choose a different path and tried to do everything to ensure a decent future for him. However, he died saving another person's life, and that changed Matt's life forever. After he was blinded by radioactive waste while rescuing an elderly man, Matt gained supernatural powers that actually changed his life forever.
