«Breakfast at Tiffany's» is a novella by American writer Truman Capote, considered one of his most famous works. The story revolves around Holly Golightly, an eccentric and glamorous young woman who leads a bohemian lifestyle in 1950s New York City. Holly appears carefree and materialistic, but she is actually searching for the meaning of life and true love.
From her Manhattan apartment window, loud cheerful music plays every night and champagne flows freely. Millionaires, Hollywood stars, and gangsters consider it an honor to be her guests. Wherever she appears, she immediately causes a sensation. It seems that the woman has conquered the whole world... But in fact, she is deeply lonely and unhappy.
Breakfast at «Tiffany's» is one of Truman Capote's most famous works. It was adapted into a film in 1961 starring Audrey Hepburn. The film became a classic of cinema and made the image of Holly Golightly one of the most recognizable images in pop culture.
