Brave New World

A dystopian future is a world where people are hostages to power. They live in a society where everything is regulated and controlled, everyone must fulfill their role and serve the common good, which is actually the good of the authorities. Those who do not want to submit are dangerous to society and must be eliminated.

The central characters of the novel are John and Lenina. John is a savage who came to this world from the past. He is a symbol of freedom and individuality. Lenina is a girl from the upper caste who was raised in a totalitarian society. She is a symbol of a person who does not know another life and does not realize its horror.
The novel «Brave New World» is a vivid warning about the dangers of totalitarianism. It shows that a world without freedom cannot be happy.
