Beren and Lúthien

«Beren and Lúthien» is an epic tale of love between a mortal man, Beren, and an elven princess, Lúthien. Their love faces many obstacles, but through their courage, ingenuity, and loyalty to each other, they are able to overcome difficult trials. The story takes place in the First Age of Middle-earth. Beren, a man of the House of Bëor, falls in love with Lúthien, the daughter of the Elven-king Thingol. Thingol does not approve of the union of a mortal and an Elf, and Morgoth, the Dark Lord, desires to possess the Silmarils, the precious jewels that adorn Thingol's crown.
Beren and Lúthien set out on a perilous journey to obtain one of the Silmarils. They must battle fearsome monsters, overcome spells and obstacles, and risk their lives.
