Roman Lazurko

Roman Lazurko was born in 1914. Before the war, he worked as a teacher. During the Second World War, he joined the «Halychyna» division and took an active part in the battles. After the war, he emigrated to the USA, where he died in 1987. His memoirs «On the Paths of Europe» are an important source for studying the history of the «Halychyna» division and the Ukrainian nationalist movement.
