Collection: Hnat Mykhailychenko

He was an active participant in Ukrainian cultural life and one of the leaders of the youth movement. Mykhailychenko took part in revolutionary events and was a member of the Central Rada. His literary career began in the early 20th century and quickly gained recognition. After the establishment of Soviet power, he was repressed and killed in 1919. His work was banned and forgotten for a long time. Today, he is considered one of the most talented Ukrainian writers of his generation.
