Collection: Ernst Jünger

One of the most enigmatic and influential figures of 20th-century German literature. He participated in World War I, witnessed the rise of Nazism, and later its fall. These experiences deeply influenced his worldview and were reflected in his works. Jünger was not only a writer but also a soldier, entomologist, and philosopher. His work spans a wide range of genres: from novels and essays to diaries and memoirs. Jünger's relationship with Nazism was complex. On the one hand, he initially sympathized with the National Socialists, seeing them as a force capable of renewing Germany. On the other hand, he always maintained his individuality and did not share all of the Nazis' ideas. Later, Jünger became a critic of the Nazi regime.
